Cabernet Sauvignon

Gabriel’s Gully Cabernet Sauvignon
The color is a dark garnet red to dark ruby. On the nose is a cabernet perfumed like sweet leather with hints of wood. The palate is generous & quite concentrated, long with heavy infusion of blackberry & blackcurrant.

The wine is intense, complex with plenty of life.
This wine was produced from estate grapes grown in South Eastern Australia. A rich intense wine that will perfectly accompany steak, stews and cheeses.

Winemakers Notes
Harvest conditions were near perfect with mild sunny days and cool nights, which allowed the grapes to ripen fully while maintaining their natural acidity, culminating in a wine to be enjoyed now.

Alc Vol. 13.50%

Shiraz

Gabriel’s Gully Shiraz
A dark opaque red in colour. On the nose are powerful blackberries and red currants with hints of vanilla. The palate is an intense sweetberry fruit core, vanillin oak with subtle hints of coconut, silky tannins and smooth mouth feel.

This wine has long length well structured and well balanced.
The lead up to the 2007 picking season had substantial rainfall which stopped weeks prior to harvest. The climactic conditions during harvest were hot and dry which produced grapes full of flavor and even berry ripening. The Shiraz is a wonderful wine to enjoy now.

Winemakers Notes
2008 vintage turned out to be quite a fine one. The grapes enjoyed a long slow ripening season. This weather pattern contributes to good flavour development in the fruit. A very wine. Excellent.

Alc. Vol. 13.50%
